Thanks John. I appreciate your quick reply and uplifting words of encouragement. You are so right about being better able to handle it. I didn't panic at all this time; didn't rip the house apart in a cleaning frenzy; didn't starting throwing their favourites stuffed animals into the freezer or garbage bags - I just treated her with the combing agent and rinsed with the Nitmix, and sent her to bed to get a good nights sleep, which I myself did. Before I would have been up to all hours trying to get all of the laundry done so there would be no nits left in our house...she would have had to wait to go to bed before I had stripped all the bedding, laundered all of the sheets, comforters and pillows, and then sprayed the bed and our furniture with the lice sprays - then headed out to our vehicles to do the same....well, you know the routine I am talking about. It exhausts me just writing about it. My family cannot thank you enough. I even hear my husband raving to our friends and family about how it has changed our lives.
A local television statement recently had a week-long episode on lice, etc. and how they can intrude on our lives and my in-laws advised me to write in to them and tell them about the freedom we have come across with your product - something I might just do. I have to admit that I did not watch the special reports on it as I find the media puts paranoia into us, which causes the panic to rise again. By the way, I have recommended you folks many times to others who may be either dealing with lice, or who want to prevent it. I do some substitute secretarial work in the school's in my local area, and have had about 4 occasions to tell parents who unfortunately have to deal with lice. As well many of my friends who ask, thanks for a great product!!
I recently placed my order and I used your products back in 2006 and I never replaced them when I ran out and yikes, my daughter contracted lice. Well…..I am so bummed out; however can you please send us some pamphlets, so that I can pass them out at her school/nurse? About half of my daughter’s class has lice and we’re experiencing repeat re-infestations that are out of control!
In my desperation I tried out the OTC live and it is not even close to being as effective as your product was when I last use it. I would like to help the other parents out. I appreciate it.

Good morning John, We have been using your product since September of this year and I just wanted to take a minute and let you know how happy we are with your product. We have been fighting lice in our home for 3 years now, starting each new school year and ending when they are out of school for summer break - very frustrating. I have tried almost everything out there and have to say that none of it has been as fabulous as your product. All of the others were a temporary fix (and I mean VERY temporary), and yours has rid us of lice for good. The other great thing about your product is I know it is not harming my children like the other products were - and it smells great!!! We use the spray every morning, and I have no more worries about my kids attending parties with classmates, or enjoying sleepovers with their friends.

Good morning John. We received your wonderful product and have started using it, even though we had just used the product RESULTZ (which I don't think worked for us) for a recent outbreak of nits. I just wanted to say that our first application with your product turned up one live bug and I suspect some nits, although it was hard to be positive as my daughter has a very dry scalp with lots of dandruff flakes. The comb is amazing!!! I couldn't believe it picked up so many small particles, which turned out to be sand in my other daughters hair (she informed she had a sand fight the day before treatment ! ) - it works great, and we use the spray EVERY day now! I love the smell.
I thought I should confirm, however, that now that I have found the live bug, is it still OK to do the treatment every 3 days, or should I be doing it more often because of the live one???? Sorry to bother you but I know you are an expert on this and I really value your opinion. I have given some of my friends your pamphlet and have told NUMEROUS others about your website with all of the great information posted on it, including my children's school. The principal told me that they will post your website address on their next newsletter so others parents are aware of it.
Again, thank you so much for all of your help through this awful ordeal. On Sunday when we found the live bug, I didn't panic (this time) having read all the helpful and informative information on your website. I just wanted to thank you for your attitude toward lice that came across in the FAQs. I live in the US and there is certainly a real "freak-out" response to lice. I found lice on my daughter's head on Christmas Eve. My son asked, "what do they do!" and I had to honestly answer, "not much", so what was I so upset about. He just shrugged his shoulders. You have helped me gain a better perspective.
I also so appreciate the info regarding
not having to clean the entire house and every single item that may have come in contact with my daughter's head. I have been going nuts with laundry, etc., all the while thinking, "if they are so hard to get off the head like people say, why would they be falling off onto bed sheets and coats?" I just wanted to let you know that we like your product so far. Your voice was the only one online that spoke to the dangers of putting pesticides on the human scalp. You also were the only voice online of reason regarding the inanity of over cleaning home surfaces on which lice could not actually live.
An interesting side benefit of your product: I (mom) had to use it because I caught them too from my daughter.
Your oil had a very nourishing effect on my hair. I left it in (after combing) overnight and shampooed the next morning. I was pleasantly surprised to discover it gave a beautiful lustre to my 'older' locks. Just letting you know.

I purchased my preventative products. My first purchase was about 4 years ago. I'll never forget how your company eased my mind during what felt like a "living heck" as I navigated through lice in our household. I have passed along your wisdom, and products to neighbours as well.
I have a question. I love the "nitmix oil" I think this is what is called the combing agent. I like rub it into my scalp to help ease the dryness of my eczema this safe to do this? I have assumed that it was safe since the product is all natural. Thank you.

Is head lice eradicated in Great Britain? Well, with the availability of NitMix, it should be. Now, let's conquer the USA!
After having three to four infestations per school year (times three children), your product is the only one that has worked! It has kept head lice out of our home for a whole school term! With the start of a new school year, I'm reordering. Teachers should consider using it on themselves--my friend is a veteran elementary school teacher who can attest to having to deal with head lice she got from her students!

Today is March 12, 2007 and I just realized that it was 2 years ago that I found your products and got rid of my 3 girls headlice. I have been putting the daily spray on them every morning before school and we have never had the nightmare of lice again although their school has continued ever year to have this problem. I got a call from a friend last night her daughters have lice and she wanted to know what I did. Well, I just happened to have some extra bottles of the Wet Combing Aid that I passed on as well as the Pure Nitmix. I know that they will soon be ordering their own supply.

thank you so much for creating a product that WORKS and that’s safe on my children. My daughter had lice come back for a total of 4 months, and I refused to put any more chemicals on her head. I tried all the home remedies, and learned that lice are almost indestructible. NITMIX was my last resort before shaving my daughter’s head. I followed the directions diligently and it was
the ONLY thing that worked for us. Luckily, only my daughter was infested, but I know if we ever have these evil visitors again, I’ll know what to do. I’ve recommended your product to MANY people. Thank you again!

Your first delivery to our residence in Canada arrived very fast.
After more than 5 chemical treatments 7 days apart
we still removed many lice with your fantastic oil treatment and combs. We were pleasantly surprised to see how little oil was needed since our daughters have very thick hair nearly 1 meter in lenght! We immediately saw a huge drop in population after the second combing and we've seen nothing for the last 2 sessions. It is time consuming but nothing else came close to working. Thanks.

house) and washed out easily. We saw no nits or other bugs on her or

I'm placing my order when I finish this e-mail. I'm choosing to trust
the good sense you seem to promote on your website -- appropriate
concern for the "problem" without all the hysteria. As long as they can
eat, breathe and think, anything else is only an annoyance really. And
believe me, I do tend toward hysteria when it comes to my kids!

Oh John thank you so much ... (you actually brought tears to my eyes), as I am "soooo" frustrated ..... I know they don't come from being unhealthy, but it seems my children are "always" the ones who seem to have them, or atleast I don't hear of anyone else having them. And "yes" I am totally frustrated ... ! SO ! frustrated. I will read and reread all your information again and again. But around here when the kids get them, the school get in this panic and right away i have to run up to school and get them. Last year they had them, not to mention a few times years in the past. But i have to do them all that night, then they won't let them ride in the school bus. So i have to take them to school, and being some are in middle school and some are in elementary school ... ahhh ... anyways, they have to be checked before they are allowed back in school, and if even just "ONE" nit (Godforid) is found they have to go back home and be rechecked by me again. It's so frustrating. So last year when we went through all this I took them one of your brochures in and left it there so the school nurse could read it ... being i think their making a big deal out of it. they always tell me you have to do this, remove all toys in their bed room (which is never going to happen), all stuffed toys, etc. etc. ..... this is why i'm frustated .... anyways today was saturday i put it all off and took the day and went and bought mums and planted them, i'll start tomorrow with what i have left ... but trust me i was amazed last time when i used it on my one daughter, the stuff that came out of her hair was truly amazing ... i never knew i was missing so much ... thanks again John, and my God bless you. I have to thank you for your product!! My daughter had gotten lice a few months ago and we thought they were gone. However when they did a head check yesterday at school they found dead nits. I sat with her for 4 1/2 hours last night picking and cutting them out of her hair. She has really thick hair, the color is red with alot of natural blond, brown high lights, the nits were very hard to see. Anyway my husband took her back today and the nurse found alot still in her hair and sent her home. My husband called and were so frustrated. I told him that I ordered your product and it got delivered yesterday. So he said he would try that. We just needed help getting the nits off her hair! He let it sit in her hair, combed it through and had her rinse it off in the shower and he combed it while the water was running on it. She dried her hair and he brought her back to school and the nurse said it was alot better. She found a couple but she let her back in school. It only took my husband 30 minutes of combing to get them out. I am amazed with your product!! I will use the spray daily. It is such a relief to find a product that does what it promises!!

The product worked so good on my daughters hair and then one of my sons got hair lice from my daughter who got it at school. I had told you that my husband cut her long beautiful hair. Kiana now likes her short hair. This is a great alternative to harsh chemicals, and a great way to prevent the infestation in the first place. Thanks again. While my kids are in school, they will use Nitmix. Ok-I used your product as specified and it was wonderful! My granddaughter's hair combed out amazingly easily (her hair is long and thick) and we used the rinse and the spray and everything was great!
Now...I slacked off, actually my fault, and guess what-they're back! She didn't want to tell me because she is SO tired of having them and probably embarrassed also...as 6 year olds tend to be...but of course, the school called me...
I am going to do the full treatment again tonight and I will NEVER let her leave the house again without the spray in her hair!
I was amazed at the "yuck" I pulled out the first time and since the school doesn't seem to have anyone else with the little nuisances, according to the school, and her day-care doesn't see any little guys on any of the other kids...perhaps I only have myself to blame for being so happy not to have to do the constant laundry-clean-vacuum-steam-freak out routine that I didn't keep up the defence system..
Just wanted you to know I feel totally comfortable in using this again and believe in the results-just have to get in the habit of ALWAYS doing that after-rinse and the preventative spray! Thanks for

This may seem a strange comment but I read your website, and I have been all over the web trying to find something to help with this stupid lice headache, and so far only your site helped restore my calm. Most of the sites out there pray on the paranoia that lice seems to engender in people such as myself.
So even if your product does not work, as I have not bought any yet, I am still impressed at your calming information instead of inciting more hysteria to try and sell me something. And I truly hope that your product isn't just another scam, as most of the "natural" lice products seem to be. There has to be some hope that there are still honest businesses out there that are really selling something that will actually help, and allow parents to use non-harmful products in the treatment of lice.

I received your package very quickly after ordering (quicker even than most U.S. mail order companies) and want to thank you for your speedy service and for a great product. My daughter picked up head lice sometime last summer, and we have been battling it ever since. We tried the drug store products several times, and obviously those aren't very effective because she still had the lice.
I was combing her hair with the fine tooth comb that comes with those products every couple of days, and recently we were only finding one, two or three lice each time. I felt the battle was almost won but realized that we would never completely eradicate them this way. While checking the internet, I found your product. I have to tell you that I just spent an hour combing through her long thick hair with your nitmix product, and I was amazed at what I found. I thought she just had a few lice left but I removed dozens and dozens, along with a lot of other junk (eggs & feces - I can't tell them apart). The lice were virtually invisible in her hair. I rarely found them checking her scalp and the other combs only produced a few. She is actually in the shower now washing her hair, and I had to let you know what a successful product this is.
I know we will have to do another treatment because I am sure we missed some eggs or babies, but I feel that her head is so much better off than it was before. I am confident we will get rid of all the lice in a few treatments. After seeing what came out of her hair, I can't imagine ever getting rid of them without your product. I have to say I was skeptical about how that fine comb would go through her long thick hair, but it was easy with the oil.
So thanks for a great product - you should advertise more in the U.S. - it is so easy and effective and safe and inexpensive!

Dear Sir/Madam, I have 3 children, 2 of whom are girls with long hair. In August, we all got a very bad case of lice. I used the usual treatments on all of us, but the lice came back.
I tried another method the 2nd time, but the lice came back.

I found you out of desperation. After numerous treatments from RID and NIX...
we kept having problems. My oldest daughter has very long curly thick hair, and it was quite difficult to look for nits. I found her in her room crying one day, because I had found yet another louse after our third week of treatments.

I've been using Nitmix on my daughter's hair for the last two years. I wasn't sure if it was really working until this summer.
Due to an "unfortunate" hair cut and summer months not being the peak season for lice, I had slacked off with the Nitmix routine. I allowed my daughter to use kids shampoos and detanglers and neglected to do the final rinse after shampoo and the daily spray. My daughter woke up one Saturday morning and scratched her head. I took one look and to my displeasure, she had lice again.
My daughter has been in school and around kids that have been infected with lice, only to come home with a clean head. School lice does not seem as daunting now that I am convinced that Nitmix works.
I am now the point of reference for eliminating lice from the neighbourhood and school children's heads. I always recommend Nitmix and will continue to use the product in my household.

I found that my daugther not only rid herself of the lice but also had a wonderful hair treatment in the process. Your Nitmix does wonders on dry hair and scalp from winter and I can only imagine how nice it will be during the summer months with hair damage from the sun and pool water. Hello John,I just wanted to let you know that my daughter passed
her lice test at school last week!

She had a case of lice in August and I first used two treatments
of RID and I was not thrilled about using those harsh chemicals
on her.
I was nervous, embarrassed and completely unsure what to do.
We washed everything in her room, put her toys away and I found
myself becoming completely consumed by this issue.

explanations about lice and ordered it immediately. I felt calm. We did
some treatments as recommended and it really was not as painful as the RID

In an effort to keep the lice away, we have added a step in our morning routine, I

Which is a good habit because there were two instances of lice in her after
school program and she did not get it. Last week was the real test though.

required mixture in her hair, I actually saw the live lice

Hey, John, Just had to let you know that after being
excluded from daycare for head lice 16 times, our little
3 yr old student is lice and nit free!!!!!!
We used the sample you sent us on her last Thursday and
followed up this weekend by sending some home with mom.

Hi John, Thank you for all your advice and Nitmix product.
I took your advice and did the sunflower oil until
the Nitmix arrived and I think that did most of the work.
When the nitmix arrived I used that and found only 1 bug and 3 nits.
Now after every shower we use the 4 drops in 500 ml of water as the
final rinse and I'm happy to say we are now 10 days free of head
lice. I still use the nit comb every other day just to be certain.

I also want to add my daughter has problems with tangles
in her hair and I thought I will never get this nit comb through
her hair, but whatever is in your product, made the comb
go right through.

How wonderful it has been to find such a great product.
Last school year my daughter got head lice and I spent over $75

You said you liked progress reports... so here you
are! I only ordered your products yesterday; your
web information and "what to do in the meantime to get
started" advice has already changed our attitudes and
our lives.
I will spare you the long, drawn-out drama of endless
treatments that didn't work. You know how it is.
Just preparing to use the sunflower oil yesterday, I
was able to explain to my 6-year old daughter that
this was different. No more trying to kill them all,
no more shower caps, chemicals, single nit-picking,
ripping hair out... I told her we were making hair
salad and we would just gliiiiide the little bugs out
and (in a thick, NY accent) FUGGETABOUTIT! She
laughed so hard and the rest of the evening the three
of us (including my 2-year old son) were all saying
FUGGETABOUTIT.
I combed her for 10 minutes and sure enough, there
were 3 adult lice and 1 baby. And we had just used
Nix the night before, and left it in all night, per
the pediatrician's instructions. This was supposed to
be the 7-day follow up treatment and there will still
living things in her hair that I didn't previously
see. I would have thought we were clear until the
next obvious outbreak if it weren't for your website.
I am so happy to finally have the means and education
to break the cycle. This has been consuming our lives
for over a month now.
Now we can get back to being silly and just
fuggetaboutit :-) I'm looking forward to receiving

have made my daughter and I.
I spent 5 months trying to get rid of these critters. My doctor
couldn't help me; my neighbour's advice (a registered nurse) didn't
help. Everything you described about how they seem to like one child's
head more than another was true. My daughter would go to school clean
and when she would come home I'd find one or two of the large lice
on her head. This gave them enough time to start the cycle all over
again.
I had tried 3 different brands of shampoos (which I used reluctantly),
6 treatments, I used olive oil to help me remove the eggs (which helped
greatly in the removal). But they kept coming back. My daughter's
class was a pod of 60 kids. Every day or every other day we would
get a letter that a child had lice. I tried teatree shampoo to keep
them out didn't work.
I will endorse the daily spraying it has kept it out of my daughters
head. A week after using the spray on her head, my daughter
was playing with two friends one was infested like my daughter was
(6 months ago), the other playmate got it, my daughter didn't.
Since then she has been exposed 2 more times and is still clean. I
sent her to brownie camp with confidence.
I have given your wonderful information to several people who have
either gone through or are going through this nightmare. Only one
of these people have tried your product and said it helped. The others
don't wish to listen to me because they thought it was my fault I
couldn't get rid of it. Even after I told them how lice works. Your
site gave me so much valuable information I saw every stage from the
large ones right down to the grains of sand.
I will continue using your product on a daily basis and try my best
to help as many frustrated parents as I can.
I wish your product could be purchased in stores, I feel more parents
would use your product instead of those highly toxic shampoos. I hated
using them knowing what could happen to my daughter's health and well

I feel like I found a friend
in this battle against lice. My eldest son is now under control,
the last time I checked my 18 month old baby, he seemed to be clear,
and my daughter with the tons of long ringlets also seems clean. In

"I ordered your product last week and it arrived today. I have already
treated myself and found three live, newly hatched (they had clear bodies
with a small dot in the centre of them) louses. I have to say that I
am a little shocked because I have treated myself with the "lice shampoo"
three times in the last week. The last time was just on Sunday morning,
it is now Fri. I guess some of them could have hatched since. :)
I am going to check my daughter, who brought it home from school, as
soon as she comes through the door.

I can't believe how great this stuff is, my girlfriend gave
me her bottle when my daughter came home with the nasty letter from
school.
I was horrified. I have never had to deal with this problem but
had
heard many horror stories. Neither of my boys have ever had them
and my daughter never got them during pre k, but no sooner does she
start kindergarten she gets them.
She has long blonde hair and I thought I was going to have to fight
her but I didnt. She loved the rubbing in, and there was no hair pulling.
I'm buying more to have on hand for the future.

"The packs arrived and we went to work right away.
Wow! I found a
lot more in there than what the eye could see. The almond oil we
were using sure put a dent in them but with your oil and NITMIX it seemed
like a million nits and more bugs just came pouring out.
The school checked my daughters hair yesterday before the NITMIX arrived
and didn't find anything, remember I hadn't used your NITMIX yet only
the almond oil, and the school nurse didn't find anything, however today
I used your NITMIX and found a bunch that the eye couldn't see.
Again I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts, I am going
to keep the process up and
once and for all beat the headlice TRAUMA!!!!!

WOW!!! I treated my daughter and myself tonight

I saw little things I haven't seen before when
combing. I think we've killed much of the adult lice with the Rid
last week but now I'm seeing little specks of things coming out of there
I hadn't seen before. I'm so glad.

Well we got the comb, I like it much better than the smaller one in
pink. I have to say, I'm impressed with your product!!! The bugs are
gone after doing the combing 3 times for my daughter and myself. She
is so happy and I'm thrilled!!!
I found things the 1st time combing I had missed the times before. I'm
sure those were the things that reinfested her the 2 other times she
got it back after the chemicals we tried.
I now feel empowered if we ever get this again that I have a product
that will treat it without resorting to chemicals on my childs head.
I can't believe I put them on her 3 times before this!!!
We only used half the bottle so I have plenty to use if ever the next
time comes. How long will it keep? I will faithfully spray a little
mixed in water daily to keep them away as you suggested. My neighbor
also ordered your product and I've assured her there is an end in sight
with your product. Thanks so much...You have ended our 2 1/2 month battle

I have conquered the problem; I have used the Nitmix and almond
oil. I started on April 25th, and repeated process every three days.
I did last treatment on May 7th, and I found absolutely nothing in my
daughter's head for the first time since she was a year old.
I have sent my mom a print out of how you and your wife got started
and the steps mentioned on how to rid them once and for all. My mom
has a house full and has had the same problems as I.
We never know where they started,
we just knew they never went away.
I lived close to her and together we were battling them every few weeks.
I only have the problem with one child and she has three small children,
two grown children, three grandchildren, a son & daughter-in-law. So,
we would all get together for one bug killing festival.
Now I have moved to NC with my husband who is in the military. We'd
talk by phone about our endless dilema with lice. So I finally
decided
there has to be something I don't know. I am here alone with one
child and still I am battling the lice, my daughter hasn't even started
school yet.
I search the web, read about products and web sites about the life span
of lice and I then found your site. While reading, it just made sense.
Here we are, my mother and I fighting a losing battle and we couldn't
figure out why. Even before I got your product, I was satisfied.
Finally it all made sense, why the battle has gone all for so long,
I just thought that we were plagued.

so happy with your product I have referred
my mom to your site and I hope they will be on their way to finally
riding the problem. My daughter will be going there in a few weeks for

"Dear Mr. Owen, I am sorry it took me so long to write but I have had
so many other things going on now that
we are Lice & Nit FREE!!!
For the first time in a year, my daughter has not come home with any
signs of headlice. It has been the
best 6 weeks we have had in over
a year. And I know for a fact that the kids at the daycare still
have them. Another child there got the headlice from the two kids that
are not being treated. But my daughter didn't get them!! I was saddened
to hear that the children that keep getting them are not being treated
even after I gave them the info about Nitmix and the Mother ordered
it. She just isn't using it properly so of course it isn't working.
I also gave the info to the "new" mother who has the problem and she
is using it now. Seems to be working for her too!!
I just want to thank you guys soooooo very much for all your help and
concern when I was in desperate need.
Without your product, I would
still be going crazy wondering why I could not get rid of the lice.
I thought I was the only parent who was going through this and did not
understand why my daughter kept getting them. After reading your internet

"My Granddaughter has really long hair. After changing schools in the
first grade, after a month she had gotten lice. Today, this is still
an embarrassing situation. I went into the Internet and located the
NITMIX and after using it on a regular basis, she has not had them again.

them and sprayed and cleaned everything in the house.

that my boyfriend's daughter has to go back to her mother's house for
the summer and that seems to be where she is getting them from. We have
treated and treated and I try to get her to use the precautionary spray
in her hair, but she sometimes "forgets".

"Nitmix, Last year my teenage daughter got lice after sharing her brush
with others at school. We tried two popular over the counter lice removers.
Neither worked. We took our daughter to the doctor. He prescribed a
stronger removal system. That didn't work either.
All this time I was hating the fact that these
harse chemicals
were constantly being applied to my daughter's head. My daughter was
getting extremely stressed. She was having trouble sleeping over
the worry of it all.
Finally I sent for Nitmix. We followed the instructions, which were

"John: I was also using olive oil and found that the lice were still
alive, but unable to lay eggs. When I used the nitmix system, I found
at least 2 large lice and between 25 to 35 small ones. (And I thought
she was lice free for a few days before receiving the nixmix since I
wasn't finding any eggs).
Your system along with your comb is the only way in my opinion to
get rid of this problem. I plan on giving my pediatrician all the
information on your products."
