Hi John, Thank you for all your advice and Nitmix product. I took your advice and did the sunflower oil until the Nitmix arrived and I think that did most of the work.

When the nitmix arrived I used that and found only 1 bug and 3 nits. Now after every shower we use the 4 drops in 500 ml of water as the final rinse and I'm happy to say we are now 10 days free of head lice. I still use the nit comb every other day just to be certain.
